The Welcome Mat project involved creating designs for six side streets in celebration of the area and as a reflection of the sentiment of local community. The designs were permanently installed in the roads, by Creative Pavements, using a product called Duratherm.

The design on Florence Street acknowledges the incredible public space that is the library while the tree on Rosa Street is reflective of the growth of Goodwood as well as it’s longevity. Lily Street celebrates the rich culinary experiences this suburb has to offer while the stars and film strips found in the Gilbert Street design pay homage to the iconic Capri Theatre.
